The Social Security Administration (SSA) is crediting extra earnings for
those with eligible military service. Find out if you qualify for extra
credit.
TRICARE champions Reps. Chet Edwards (D-Texas) and Walter Jones (R-N.C.) have
reintroduced legislation to bar DoD from increasing military health care fees
without explicit congressional action.
MOAA advised members to decline enrollment in Medicare Part D last
year. However, some members are discovering they have been enrolled
automatically, which is limiting and delaying their TRICARE pharmacy claims.

The Veterans' Disability Benefits Commission (VDBC) held two days of hearings
in mid-January, including discussions on concurrent receipt for retirees with 10
percent to 40 percent disability ratings and medical (Chapter 61) retirees with
less than 20 years of service.
